Once the year 5-6's went it was time for us to go we got up and walked behind a man called tony who was dressed up in a superman costume. They said 3 2 1 and the air horn went we all started running some people slower than other but my best friend Kayla and I ran the whole thing together at the same pace it was so fun there was mud, water, ropes.and bouncy castles to run through. Christmas in Calamba

Welcome back to my blog This week in reading we have been learning about Christmas in Calamba. This is somethings i already new-  Spending Christmas in a foreign country like Calamba can be an amazing eye opening experience for you, your friends and family, especially since it’s a world wide festival and most people celebrate it in a very similar way. This is somethings i learnt-  I found out from reading this artacil that in Calamba they spend more time celebrating Christmas than any other country in the whole world. Also something I didn't know was that 90% of the population of Calamba is catholic, the holiday is mainly based on the catholic base. Thanks for reading this blog (Have you ever been to Calamba?)

Camp

Welcome back to my blog Last week, the Kaupeka hub went to camp. We went to the YMCA camp in Wainui. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights. We wrote a reflection about the things we found challenging, things we learned, thing we enjoyed and things we are grateful for. Challenging: I found some of the activities challenging. Kayaking was really challenging at the start because I was really scared but once I started doing it I found that it was heaps of fun. We had to do a tramp to get to the YMCA camp and I kept on getting stuck in mud so that was also really challenging. I also got a bit home sick. Enjoyed: I really enjoyed doing the activities. They were really fun to do and it was really cool because I haven't done most of them before. I think I enjoyed kayaking the most because I had never done it before and I liked all the challenges the got us to do in the kayak. My favourite challenge was when we had to stand up on the kayak and we had to jump, I was very happy with myself

Attitude

Welcome back to my blog  Today im telling you about what the Kaupeka hub did last week. Last week the Attitude people came to our school and had a conversation about a funny topic. What they talked to us about was... Puberty we weren't  expecting to turn up to school that morning to find out the puberty man was coming to our school to talk to us... They talked to us about the changes we will be going through the next few years...They talked a bit about the boys and a bit about the girls the man covered just about everything we hope. The next day they came in again but this time instead of it being boys and girls in the hall together the boys were in the hall with Rory/the puberty man, and the girls were in the hub with the puberty laddie. In the separate session we covered more things that happened to girls and we played a game where you run to a corner of the room and each corner of the room counted as an answer. We also got to ask questions that were meant more for girls and abo
